Digital Payment Transformation: The Effectiveness of Using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (Qris) in Strengthening Business Communications in the Digital Era

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of the QRIS in strengthening business communication in the digital era. Researchers raised 5 sub-focuses: 1) Transparency of QRIS messages. 2) Construction of QRIS trust. 3) QRIS involvement in ongoing communication. 4) QRIS digital diplomacy. 5) QRIS challenges in communication channels. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects were QRIS merchant managers and MSMEs. The research was answered through interviews, observations and literature studies. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results show: 1) QRIS effectively reduces noise enhancing message transparency. 2) Building strong trust through QRIS visual signals creates a halo effect of professionalism. 3) QRIS increases customer engagement, shaping business communication. 4) Digital diplomacy tools that align local transaction languages with universal standards. 5) Despite its effectiveness, infrastructure challenges remain that interfere with the smooth flow of business communications.
